Description:

MefStar 500 contains Mefenamic Acid, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps relieve pain, inflammation, and fever. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals responsible for causing pain, swelling, and inflammation in the body.

Indications:

MefStar 500 is commonly prescribed for:

1. Pain Relief:
   • Mild to moderate pain due to musculoskeletal injuries.
   • Post-operative pain.
2. Menstrual Pain (Dysmenorrhea):
   • Effective in relieving severe menstrual cramps.
3. Arthritis and Joint Pain:
   • Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis-related pain.
4. Dental Pain:
   • Toothaches or post-dental surgery pain.
5. Fever Management:
   • Used as an antipyretic in specific conditions.

Dosage and Administration:
