Composition:

  • Esomeprazole 40 mg
  • Domperidone 30 mg (SR)

Detailed Description:

YesO DSR Capsules combine two active ingredients, Esomeprazole and Domperidone, to provide dual-action relief from gastrointestinal disorders. This formulation addresses both excessive stomach acid production and motility-related symptoms, making it a highly effective treatment for conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and dyspepsia.

Mechanism of Action:

  1. Esomeprazole:

    • A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses stomach acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells.
    • Provides long-lasting acid suppression to promote healing and symptom relief.
  2. Domperidone (SR):

    • A dopamine receptor antagonist that enhances gastric motility.
    • Improves esophageal sphincter tone and accelerates gastric emptying to reduce symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and bloating.

Indications:

YesO DSR Capsules are recommended for:

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) with associated nausea or bloating.
  • Acid Peptic Disorders such as hyperacidity and heartburn.
  • Non-ulcer Dyspepsia.
  • Gastroparesis or delayed gastric emptying.
  • Prevention of gastric ulcers in patients on NSAIDs.

Benefits:

  • Provides fast and sustained relief from acidity and acid reflux symptoms.
  • Addresses nausea, vomiting, and bloating associated with gastric motility issues.
  • Enhances patient compliance with once-daily dosing due to sustained-release formulation.

  • Usual Dose: One capsule daily, preferably 30 minutes before a meal.
  • The dose and duration should be as directed by the physician.

Storage Instructions:
