Description: GoldenAct-2.6 is helps to treat and prevent heart-related chest pain (angina). Angina happens when the heart muscle does not get enough blood during circulation. This medicine helps relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily to the heart.  

What is Nitroglycerin Acetate in GoldenAct-2.6?

Nitroglycerin works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels which decreases the oxygen demand of the heart and reduces its workload; therefore, preventing and treating attacks of angina (chest pain).

Common side effects of GoldenAct-2.6:

Headache, dizziness, blurred vision, decreased blood pressure, increased heart rate, insomnia, vomiting and loss of appetite

What do I do if I miss a dose?

Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. - If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. - Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. - Do not change the dose or stop this drug. - Talk with the doctor.

What precautions should I take when taking GoldenAct-2.6?

Alert your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

When do I need to seek medical help?

If you think there was an overdose or signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. If you are planning to harm yourself or the want to harm yourself gets worse. Very bad dizziness or passing out. Very upset stomach or throwing up. 

Can I take Artemether with other medicines?

Alert your doctor immediately if you are taking any of these medicines: - heart medicines such as quinidine, disopyramide, procainamide, antihistamines such as terfenadine, astemizole, other medicines such as probucol, erythromycin. - Inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.

Are there any food restrictions?

Avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice.

How do I store GoldenAct-2.6?

Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children, medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
