Description:
LevoZen M KID is a combination medication designed to provide relief from allergic symptoms in children. It contains Levocetirizine, an antihistamine that blocks histamine receptors to reduce allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes, and Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist that helps prevent and control symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.
This formulation is specifically tailored for children to manage allergic reactions and asthma symptoms effectively, without the sedative side effects often associated with older antihistamines.
Indications:
LevoZen M KID is used in the treatment of:
- Allergic Rhinitis:
- Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes.
- Asthma:
- Provides relief and helps control asthma symptoms in children.
- Chronic Allergies:
- For children with chronic allergic conditions or asthma exacerbations.
Benefits:
- Dual Action: Combines two effective drugs to manage multiple allergy-related symptoms.
- Non-Sedating: Levocetirizine is less sedating compared to first-generation antihistamines, ensuring your child stays alert.
- Asthma Control: Montelukast helps prevent asthma attacks and maintains lung function.
- Convenient Dosage: Child-friendly 5 mg Montelukast + 2.5 mg Levocetirizine combination in a single tablet.
- Effective for both seasonal and perennial allergies.
