Description: Telwel-A  used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Amlodipine in Telwel-A is used to treat chest pain (angina) and other conditions caused by coronary artery disease. Amlodipine is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). 

What is Telmisartan in Telwel-A for?

Telwel-A is angiotensin receptor blocker (ARBs), prescribed for hypertension. It works by relaxing blood vessels. Telmisartan lowers blood pressure by lowering a strong chemical in the body.

Common side effects of Telmisartan in Telwel-A:

Common side effects are feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing, cough, belly pain, high potassium level. Signs include feeling weak, lightheaded, dizzy, feel like passing out, or have numbness or tingling. 

What does Amlodipine do to the body?

Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Amlodipine in Telwel-A belongs to a class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Amlodipine is also used to prevent certain types of chest pain (angina).

What do I do if I miss a dose?

Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

When do I need to seek medical help?

If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug, these include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Can I take Hydrochlorothiazide with other medicines?

Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food. - Taking them together can cause bad side effects. - Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.
