Description:
YesO 40 contains Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) designed to reduce stomach acid production. It is widely used to treat and manage acid-related conditions, ensuring relief from discomfort and promoting healing of the gastrointestinal lining. Esomeprazole works by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, effectively reducing acid secretion.
Indications:
YesO 40 is prescribed for:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD):
- Heartburn and acid reflux relief.
- Healing of erosive esophagitis.
- Peptic Ulcer Disease:
- Management of duodenal and gastric ulcers.
- Prevention of ulcers caused by NSAIDs.
- Helicobacter pylori Infection:
- Used in combination therapy for H. pylori eradication.
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome:
- Management of conditions causing excessive gastric acid production.
- Stress Ulcer Prophylaxis in critically ill patients.
